There was no £10 sub for 12 months, it was 1 month for £1

that's funny because when I entered the code it said one year for £10.  That was the offer I got told about, that was the offer that appeared on the actual FindMyPast website, not some dodgy voucher code site.  Their own mechanisms processed the orders.   Whether that was their intention is another matter, but that is what was on offer, and their is nothing in the T&Cs that cover them for any such error.

I find it hard to believe that you thought you was going to get a 12 month subscription for £10.00, some of you realised something was not right, because you repeatedly used the code to take advantage of the obvious error.

If there was no sub for £10 why did they say the voucher had been applied (as advertised)? Why did they deduct £89 from the 1 year price when the voucher was input?  Why did they add 1 year to accounts? Why did they take £10 from bank accounts?  Why did they confirm on their website and by email that a 1 year subscription for £10 had been awarded?  That is a lot of whys?

Sorry Jay but my letter does say: For a short period, it was possible to also use the discount code for a purchase of an annual subscription and I can see that you have managed to purchase a £99.50 subscription at the price of £10.

They obviously didn't lock it down as quickly as they wanted to or should have.  When I put my offer code in I was allowed the choice of 1 year or 1 month.  I selected one year and it confirmed the price. I only redeemed the offer once.
