Marriage of John Pascoe
« on: Thursday 04 December 14 08:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I am looking for help in discovering the wife of John Pascoe, born 1847 in Penryn Cornwall. In 1881 he is a lodger in Tiverton and then marries Ann, born between 1855-1860 in Bampton. They then have a son John born in 1884 In Tiverton so presumably they marry 1882/1883 but I cannot find a marriage,

any help much appreciated,

Alison

It might be helpful to get the birth certificate for young John then you would have two names to look for in the marriage index.

There are lotsof marriages in Devon and Cornwall in the relevant timescale , under John Pascoe.
I must admit I have not been through them all to narrow down which have an "Ann" as a possible bride.

It might be an idea to get Johns birth cert to find Anns maiden name, as an aid to finding the right marriage.

Sadly I believe John died in 1905 so do not have that option either,
