This has me stumped!!!
Joseph Swinbank born Coundon County Durham 1st Jan 1904 married a Mary H Wilson in September 1926 had 6 children Joseph 1926-1931. Mary 1932-1934.  born in Auckland County Durham.
Search as I might cannot find a death for Joseph  help appreciated.

If you read my post you will see that's a death not a birth and that apart from the year, which is one out, the birthday fits. Remember the information on the certificate is only as good as the person who gives it knows. My grandmother's age is a year out on her certificate. As I said on my post there is only ONE Joseph Swinbank born between 1903 and 1906 and that is yours.

Which implies Joseph died pre-1965, unless there was a divorce

A Mary Hannah Rand born 24.6.1908 died Durham 1974  aged 66

Hi Joseph swinbank did marry Mary Hannah Wilson and they only had two children Joseph and Mary .Joseph passed away aged five and Mary passed away aged two .Im not quiet sure what happened to their relationship but I do know that Mary went on to have five children with Joseph Henry shield who passed away and then she married Bobby rand...
