Sorry to hijack post, but rather than started a new post, I thought this thread would likely answer my query. I have a grand aunt buried in the Calcutta Scots Cemetery (Elizabeth Brechin), the Stone says “Betty Taylor (married name) died 1st August 1938 E (perhaps it’s L). A.D.T” I have no details other than the Stone, so if any one could tell me how I could start to find out why she was over there, or what the letters stand for please?
