I have tried the knowsley local history website and no matches turn up.

Garstonite, thanks but i wanted pictures of what it looked like in the 1900s or even earlier.

Thanks for those pictures Stephen. My family ( the Stott family) lived in various houses in Bond Street. I have found records for number 16, number 8, 6, 3, 17 and 19. I called up there on Saturday and number 16 is still there. Do you think that it is the original house?

I suppose that depends on your definition of "original".

Bond Street is shown on the 1848 map (below), though I doubt if they are the same properties as are in place today.
