I have a record from Hail Weston for a marriage of James Dennis and Sarah Thompson in 1796 and it said James Dennis of Templeford Beds.
My queston is can anybody look up the Parish register of Templeford for a James Dennis b 1770c.

I think that should be Tempsford in Bedfordshire!

But I cant see him!

If you think there may have been money in this family it may be worth asking Beds Archives if there are any Wills?  If not are there any Poor Law Records?
