Descendents of Lily Redford nee Readman

If you are descended from Lily Redford I would love to hear from you. She married John Redford in Glanford Brigg 1924, they had a son John D. Redford born 1928. I am her great-neice, but know very little about the Readman family, and would love to know more!

I think Lily may have been born in Tynemouth 1899 if she is the Lily Redford who died in 1982.  Can you confirm if that was the year she died?

Yes Carole, she was born in Blyth in 1899. Her brother Thomas Philip was my grandfather, although I never knew him. Thank you for replying so quickly! Sorry but not sure of her death.

That's fine - you've confirmed her birthplace so I'm sure the 1982 death is hers.  Only one child born to the 1924 marriage

Are you researching her ancestry or are you looking for living descendants from her son?  Presume you already know that her parents were Frank & Eleanor per 1901 entry - if not - let me know and I will post full details

Thanks again Carole. I am hoping to find living relatives, as despite years of searching I come up against a brick wall! As far as I can tell, most of her siblings died young. I would like to talk to someone who can fill in the gaps!
