Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders platoon? Scotland 1914?

Can anyone here with a knowledge of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders identify this picture from circa 1914? What battalion, squad, armoury, members, etc.?

My g-grandfather is Herbert William Frew (top second from left)
