Not having see one before can some kind person help with a royal navy record please as i`m clueless on it.
also is a war badge same as a wound badge.

Can you post a snippet (portion) of the image, the bits you are having problems with?
And tell us who, when and where you found his record?
That way we can have a look ourselves!

Shipwright .....SWB is silver war badge and is sometimes mistakenly called wound badge.
Naval ones are on Ancestry.
