iv'e a laptop/window's xp
             &
thats my some knowledge into techno ???

what i'm wanting is which software to buy to draw a family tree ;D
iv'e got all name's to put on tree but no way of getting info into box's or what ever { lines to join up }
doe's that make sense to you ???

Try Legacy - a number of users here have recommended the free version in the past

if you like the free version you can always upgrade or try other programs.

Once you have the info in your chosen program - I use Family Historian, which is not free, but wich I think is pretty good value, you can get the program to draw family trees which you can then copy and paste into a Word document (or OpenOffice or whatever). Here's a screenshot from Family Historian; the Copy diagram puts the family tree onto the computer's clipboard; then in Word just use Edit>Paste and hey presto! the diagram is in your document.
If you don't like the formatting of the family tree, you'll find the software allows you to make it suit your preferences.
One word of caution - you are using Windows XP which is in computing terms elderly. Do check that any program you try to install will work in XP - the websites will confirm for you.
