Microsoft word

 ;) Hi all,
please can some one help me, iv'e had my laptop about 4 years,

Openoffice org. 3.3      works great.

Openoffice org. writer  works great

But :'( Microsoft office word does not, keeps asking for product key { numbers ? }
its taken me a long time to get down to writing out my own documents and word
would be a great adition iv'e been told.

Is thier any way to buy microsoft word or download it.
Not a techno bone in my body, please keep advice simple for a simple lad please ;)

I run openoffice on my netbook but not microsoft word, why do you feel the need to have word?

Microsoft products are not free!
When you buy the software, you are given a Product Key, and this is what you enter to unlock!

So, essentially what you have is illegal software! ;D :o ;D

 ;) When i bought my computer had all disc's with it, probably knowing me didn't do every thing properly, i was hoping to make a family tree template all name's on one page, does that make sense ???
as i said not a techno bone in my body.

Sometimes Microsoft products like Word are loaded on a new computer but will not work until you buy the product key, sounds like this is the case with yours.

Didn't read your last post correctly.

Do you still have the wrapping etc. from the discs, the product key should be there somewhere.

It should do as it is x64_ but haven't tried it!!
