William Read 1813

Hope anyone can help.

Im looking for information on William Read born about 1813 in market Deeping. I have census records for 1851-1871, but cannot find a record for his birth, or his marriage to Ann, who i suspect he married about 1845-1850, as his first child was born in 1848. He was living in Radford, nottingham in the 1851 census onwards, but i have no record of his date or location of death.

No proof but I am wondering if William married Ann Shepherd?

Daniel Shepherd 65 stone mason yes
Ann 28 Manglewoman 28 yes

Mary Newbury 22 no

in 1851 William , Ann & Children are living at Cross Cutt Radford along with Daniel Shepherd age 80 stone mason

so was Daniel Ann's father?

William appears on 1871 census with Ann still at same address
1881 Ann is a widow -still at same address living with married son Charles
so William must have died sometime between 1871-1881

Thankyou for the info Suzard and welsh lady.

I did wonder who Daniel shepherd was to the family, as it states lodger on the census. i will definitely follow up on that. The name Read can be spelt many different ways which doesn't help, but the birth record of Reid looks promising and i will look into it.
