Does anyone have baptism records from 1822-1824?
I have Jemima bapt May 1824 and Elizabeth March 1822 from Ancestry but wondered if the original states father's occupation- I am hoping for a blacksmith.
Many thanks

Sorry for this possibly-stupid question.  :-\  Is Llangarren the parish or the surname?

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

As expected (by me  ;D) another incomplete entry submitted by Family Search.  At this period I would expect to see abode and occupation given for the parents.  Hopefully someone has access to the "published" parish records.

Herefordshire archives have the originals of llangarren baptisms for this period but they are closed for visits until spring 2015 while they move to new premises.

it is possible that the forest of dean fhs have transcribed this parish, you can register for free and check

http://www.forest-of-dean.org.uk/

I have not seen parents occupations very often on Hereford parish registers
