I started doing the war memorials and the headstones in St George's years ago just as a project for myself and because my husbands gt grandfather is on both memorials, but the local community centre wanted to try to put something together for the 100 years.
The council are only interested in the men who lived in a few of the streets in south moor and came to the community hall for help.
The Brinton brothers are not in the streets they are interested in but I have an extensive amount of information on nearly all of the men on the memorials and I had been stuck on John & James for sometime until recently! Just thought it might be nice to know where James was buried.
