Hi Bob, I think he was married in 1848 Doncaster to Ellen Parkinson but his christening was:-

Henry JRESON Jones 3rd September 1822 Crowmarsh Gifford, Oxfordshire Father Thos Davis Jones Mother Sarah Elizth

Jeepers that was quick - Thought his Dad was Thomas Due Jones, so will now hunt up info on Thomas Davis Jones.

with the middle name Ireson - I wonder if his mother Sarah was - maiden name Ireson ?
maybe make a note of this lady who was baptised 30 miles from where the birth of Henry Ireson Jones was..
