Hi everyone
Does anyone know the old address of Hanging Heaton Army Camp please? (I understand it's now a housing estate).

If you look at the Hanging Heaton Golf Club history there is information. Part of the golf course was requisitioned during the war for anti aircraft batteries covering the approach to Leeds.
Perhaps contact the Club Secretary for information as part of the structures are evidently still visible.
This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.

Would this be the army camp, at the end of Grasmere Road, on the 1956 map at
