Difficult to be precise but I would suggest the 1920's.
I'm not sure but his collar dogs look like the Sphinx.
There were a number of Regt's that had this.
He doesn't have medal ribbons so assume he didn't serve WW1.

He's also wearing shoes rather than army reg. boots so maybe in the Territorials.
