Help in finding birth
« on: Sunday 05 October 14 19:13 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am trying to find the birth or christening of a George Sewell from Lincolnshire?

I know he married Hilda Hitchin in 1921 in Lincoln, but I am uncertain of where he was born or even when.
I have come across some papers for a George henry Sewell enlisting in the Guards in ww1, but again I'm uncertain if this is the one I want!

Any help in this is appreciated.

I think the only way to be sure that you have the correct person is to get his marriage certificate. That may give more clues eg age and father's name. Until you have at least one of those it will be very difficult.
