I am looking for the family of Clifford jones, his mothers name was lucy. they left fochriw in 1930 and went to Birmingham?. he had two sisters on the 1911 census mary Elizabeth, and Margaret sarah. his father had passed away.

The Electoral Rolls for 1935 has a Clifford Jones living at 22 Belvedere Rd. Bromford Erdington.
In the same house is Alice & Marie Jones & a John & Ethel Edwards.
Is this them?
1932-4 there's a Clifford Jones on the Absent Voters List at 84 Westmead Crescent Bromford:
Pte 1st. Batt. Dorsets.
Can't see them in 1911.

Thanks for reply, I know they were in fochriw on the 1911 census, and Clifford was removed to Birmingham from school in 1930, he was 13 years old.

You say his father had passed away at the time of the 1911 census which does not tie in with a birthyear of 1917 for Clifford - can you clarify?

and Clifford was removed to Birmingham from school in 1930, he was 13 years old.

There is a death in 1938 Coventry for a Clifford Jones b 1917 but could be amybody as there are a lot of 1916/1917 births for that name

Sorry just checked cliffords father died in 1922. his mothers name was lucy, obviously could have remarried. his fathers name was Thomas William jones.

Where did he die and how old was he at that time?

What was Lucy's maiden name - was it Bevan as there is a possible marriage in 1903? 

If so - which birth is his?
