Looking for links to Agnes RICKELTON born ca 1846 in AYR.  She married James KERR on 25 December 1865 in Calton District, GLASGOW.  Her parents were James Rickelton and Jane MURRAY.

these people are in my family tree as well
 i have lots of information about them.. agnes rickelton married james kerr on 25 dec 1865.
janes mother had an illigitimate daughter jessie sangster after james rickelton died.  Jessie is my great great great granny.
Anyway, james kerr was a soldier in the 59th regiment and was born in ireland.
Their first son, william john kerr was born 1871 bomby, india.
George douglas kerr born 1876 east indies
Agnes jane kerr born 1879 govan
annie kerr  born 1880 glasgow
jessie kerr born 1883 glasgow
mary kerr born 1886 glasgow

agnes jane kerr married john dunlop. a brickfield lab
Their kids include john bc1900 townhead glasgow. Agnes died 9/01/1952 glasgow.

this family has been puzzling me bacause after james rickeltondied, jane had a baby with andrew sangster and the changed her name back to her maiden name (murray) and her kids too!
hope thi makes sense.  Are we related?

Hi All

I have a lot of info on the Rickeltons and the Murrays.
My granduncle William Houston married Jane (Jean) Rickelton in Glasgow in 1872.
William Houston b 1849 Neilston, Renfrew was brother to my granddad Nathaniel Houston b abt 1854 in Paisley.
