Help in finding Parkinson family

I have the following family on 1871 census living in Shotton, Easington but cannot locate them anywhere after this.  I wondered if they might have emigrated.  Can anyone help me find them? 

William Parkinson, head, 26, coalminer, born Walker, Northumberland 
Ann Parkinson, wife, 34, born Washington, Durham
George W Parkinson, son, 3, born Shotton, Durham
Edward Parkinson, son, 1, born Shotton, Durham

Thanks for this, Rosie99.  He could well be the Edward that was the baby in 1871.  I wonder where he might have been up until 1901... 

I've had another look at census data and there's an Edward Parkinson of about the right age in Durham Union Workhouse in 1881, but haven't found brother George there to add weight to the possibility that this is our Edward.  Will re-check death details in case George was no longer alive in 1881.  I wonder what happened to parents Ann and William.  Perhaps emigration is still a possibility, with Edward returning to Co Durham in adulthood.

This could be George in 1881 he is boarding with the Brown family in Willington, Durham

I can see a couple of possible deaths for the parents

There is this death for

Ann Parkinson at Sedgefield 1880 aged 44
Buried St Edmund the Bishop  31st December 1880
This is a burial for a patient from the County Asylum

Hope you get some leads.  There is a George Parkinson who boards through the census possibly to 1911 when he marries a woman, previously married, named Savage.
