You are indeed a direct descendent of the French Huguenots,Anthony Du Cruzat of whom all Crossetts are descendents of, fled the French Revolution because of the persecution of the Protestant Huguenots,some came to Scotland and others to the North Of Ireland where my family are from so all Crossetts are related through Anthony who  changed  through time his surname Du Cruzat to our name Crossett.
