bibby and rimmer look up lancs

hi,
 l haven't much information sorry but l'm trying to find information on william harold rimmer,l think he was in ww1, or maybe ww2,he had a brother george harold rimmer.(william married elizabeth bibby who was from st helens.)

 l'm not certain whether they were born before the last census or not,sorry,any info would be great,it's for my great aunty(born 1928) who never knew her dad cos he died through tb before she was born.
