Hi,

I'm not altogether sure whether Paisley Central Library will hold any records for Woodside Cemetery/Crematorium as it is a privately owned Cemetery.  You may be better contacting them direct as you now know the exact date for the death etc.

Worth checking both. There is also the old Arkleston cemetery and being a local worthy the Abbey grounds I suppose

Having been brought up in Paisley myself, I think unless he was RC, he is more than likely buried in Woodside.  The cemetery has many important and/or wealthy local people buried there.

Hi, i have just found these postings re the burial of George and Mary Ingram.   I have been to their final resting place at Woodside Cemetery in Paisley and have photographs of the large head stone.   i am their great granddaughter and live in New Zealand.   The Ingrams were not RC.
