Thank you for the website I shall have a look. What I do know while he was in the army was that he did some kind of parachuting.

That door he is standing in front of could be identified. It looks like the sort of door to a headquarters building. Very substantial. Very scuffed at the bottom.

Definitely Royal Signals. pre 1961. Absence of gaiters with that uniform. Very smart. Ossifer material. Ha Ha. Ho.
