Can you always include birthyears please?  There is an 1851 entry for a Hannah Fearn b 1829 Brassington but she is in service

There is this 1841 entry for Brassington - all b Derbyshire

Hello....I have the complete Brassington PR's and can give you the following direct from them:-

Hannah Fearn baptised 12.10.1828..daughter of John and Dorothy..John is a Miner..she is one of six children of that couple.......

John Fearn married Dorothy Wayne 27.12.1821.

Priscilla Fearn married Thomas Johnson  03.08.1846..BUT!!!!! she is shown as the daughter of Joseph Fearn........and her baptism supports that:_  one of the witnesses is John Johnson and another is Jane Fearn.

Priscilla Fearn baptised 03.09.1820 daughter of Joseph and Martha.......

So..would be interesting to know where your information came from!!

By the way there are a huge number of Fearns in Brassington.......but only one Priscilla.

PS..I'm not a great fan of Family Search but in this case they give an accurate report of the baptism, parents, and marriage of Priscilla Fearn

1841 Census further supports me....Joseph and Martha Fearn with four children, including Priscilla.

derbysderek, thank~you for your time. thomas johnson did marry a pricilla fearn but not the one i'm researching. after pricilla johnson (fearn) died he married hannah fearn

Yes..I see on the 1861...."Living together not married" Hannah Fearn and Thomas Johnson...and Priscilla, John and Fanny..all born Brassington.
Interestingly..John Fearn is baptised 1861..Base Born to hannah Spinster.
Priscilla and Fanny...although born ore 1861 do not appear in the baptisms either as Fearn or Johnson.

Priscilla's Civil registration is 1853 Ashbourne District under the name Priscilla Fern..probably a mistranscription......

You say you are researching Priscilla.......what are you looking for??..She married George Barton of Dronfield in 1873 and had at least four children
