I must admit I find the site a bit confusing. However, I only intend using it for a short while to help with Samuel Blower. The attachments were census records, no emails or phone numbers were on them. No one still living .
I thought I could not send attachments on a personal message.

Hi Sheila,

If you use the toolbar at the bottom of the photograph and move it to the right I can see the names, emails, home address and phone number of about 8 people  This information is publicly viewable to anyone who looks.

No you can not send images/attachments via personal message.

 I cannot find the toolbar never mind the information. I am in contact with the person about Samuel  Blower without using the site. A couple of days and I will have finished and will leave the site. I cannot cope.

The person who you want the information to go to, have they an e mail address?
The idea being that this information (which includes personal information) could be sent by e mail!
Once this information has been exchanged why not come back here to advise us what you have found.
[As Sarah has made it quite clear, this site has a policy of not allowing information on anyone who is still living/personal e mail addresses will be deleted]

I am sorry but I have had to remove the image you had posted because it contains too much personal information from a bunch of folks living in and around Bristol.

I really do not know what has happened. The images I have sent have only been 1861 and 1881 census ones. I have never mentioned the fact on the site that I live near Bristol. Not a phone number, email, or any address.
We have had this computer for 2 weeks, and have had phone calls about it from unknown people. Needless to say, we have not answered them.
I am now in touch with wayneh 83 by email. I think the best thing to do would unsubscribe from the site and if you could delete all the posts.

Sheila,

You had published an image on RootsChat, the image contained details of a Census but also the names, home address, email and phone number of around 8 different people living in and around the Bristol area.

There was no mention of your connection to Bristol. 

Before I removed the image I replied to your topic to check the details with you as they may have been historic addresses ?, but after seeing that the phone numbers were modern day telephone numbers I have today removed the image to protect the folk detailed in the image.

The image has now been removed.
