Those dates would possibly change Margaret's father to either William, George or possibly Joseph.

A birthday of 1912 would make Sewell about 60 when I met him - that's about spot on.

Folks,

It seems I may have almost found the Race Farmers, one in Butterknowle near Staindrop and the other in Whorlton a bit further west. Originally poultry farmers, it seems they are still in the farming business.
