Allison family, 1881 - Durham?
« on: Tuesday 09 September 14 14:34 BST (UK) »
Hi all

Can someone please find this family for me in 1881? I'm guessing it's going to be in Durham, possibly Birtley. I have half of the details in that I know it's RG12/4947 but I don't know the folio, page number or any address details.
  • Robert Allison, 31, (don't know the occupation) born Southchurch?
  • Esther Allison (nee Oldfield), 50, born (Bishop) Auckland
  • John Thomas Allison, 31, born Southchurch?
  • Rebecca Allison, 25, born Brent Green?
  • Martha Allison, 14, born Lanchester, Co. Durham
  • Esther Allison, 12 born Lanchester, Co. Durham
  • Samuel Allison, 9, born Lanchester, Co. Durham
  • Isabella Allison, 7, born Lanchester, Co. Durham
  • grand-daughters Mary Ann (6), Elizabeth Ann (6) and Lilley Ada Allison (2)
Thanks for any help you can provide.

RG12 is the 1891 Census, the 1881 is RG11.

Brilliant - thank you very much. :)

I'm now hoping that Robert is in the 1891 census, possibly in the same area.
I have a possible death for him, Durham, Mar Q 1898 so that would make the 1891 his final census.
I think Esther dies in Mar Q 1904 in Chester-le-Street aged 71, so she should be with him aged about 59ish.
Not sure about the children.

Anyone fancy a look for me please? And 1901 for Esther?

Thanks in advance again.
