Jim Peterson.  Are you sure of that information about Patrick Boyce?  Are you speaking of Michael Boyce (1765-1832) born in Stranorlar, Donegal?  In Ancestry i am a DNA relation to the Boyce's who moved to Quebec after Michael passed in 1832.  While I may be in the paternal line, I believe I am the offspring of one his brothers or earlier.  Many of the names handed down in my family are similar....Henry, Patrick, James, etc.  Does anyone know if Patrick and Catherine Lawler had more children than just Michael?  Just as an FYI.  Per my Big Y testing I am also related to George and William Boyce from Letterkenny/Bohirril Park area whose parents were Anthony Boyce and Eleanor Gallagher.
