1891 census Pocklington?
« on: Wednesday 29 June 05 20:49 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for Arthur Craven b. 1880 Pocklington

I have him on 1881 census with his mother. Then she remarried to Richard Foster and in 1901 he is in Cottingham, calling himself Arthur Foster.

Has anyone got him on 1891 census?
Best wishes

Hi Jean

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, things have been hectic at mine.

In our family tree i have Richard Foster who was born in 1823 to William Foster and Sarah Tilburn. They married in 1817 in Wilberfoss. Your John could be related to my tree but as yet i have found no connection.

I will have a dig around to see if i can find any proof of who your John Foster's parents were.

Best wishes
