I will save the details to order the certificate.

A transcription of the certificate is a cheaper and quicker option to purchasing a certified certificate and suitable for family history purposes.

Were these transcriptions of New South Wales certificates?

The New South Wales Accredited Transcription Agents transcribe ALL information from the certificates at the Registry unless you request otherwise ie only purchase blocks of information.

 http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/bdm_fh.html#transcription

I suggest you read the link and the agents' websites.

No I haven't ordered any certs from Australia before, which was why I asked, as I wasn't sure.

Thank you for the link

It is advisable to read any links posted by others who are attempting to assist with your request.

I posted this link initially in reply#7 ;).

Just for your info....There is no central bdm registry in Australia.  Each state and territory has it own registry.  Only the State of NSW permits accredited agents to transcribe certificates from its records.

Are you sure that Emma was Robert's daughter?

She married with the surname LITTLEJOHNS and named her father as Robert LITTLEJOHNS, Cooper which co-incidentally was Robert QUARMS's occupation in 1851.

Was Emma illegitimate or was her mother was married previously?

Cheers
