hi i have found my ancestors in sheffield 1911 census john whealan but cant find them on the 1901 census originally i thought they may have been in ireland but one of the children was born in birmingham in 1900 if any one can help would appreciate it

Have you tried the Wheeling family in Birmingham?

Dad John is a bicycle fitter,born Dublin.

Have you got the family's details from Irish Genealogy Church records sounds like same family John Whelan and Lizzie Moran married 1884 having children in Dublin up till 1894 and a son Robert born 1889.

Hi, my Great Grandparents were John Whelan and Eliza Whelan nee Moran with my Grandmother being Cecelia. I'm told her farther (John) was a bycycle manufacturer in Dublin but she was sent to England while young where she met my grand father and had their family in Sheffield.
