« on: Wednesday 29 June 05 03:18 BST (UK) »
I would like to locate anyone researching these names or who might have access to Parish Records. I have the census information but would really like to know more.  Julie in Aus

Hi
I put Ealham Geneaology into Google and came up with several hits - mainly on a site called cousins connect.   Obviously a lot in New Zealand who are from the same line.   Worth a try anyway.

I assume you have tried the ancestry and rootsweb message boards.   FreeBMD has 40 odd hits too for Lincolnshire.   Does anyone on the Lincs Look up Exchange have the parish records?     They might have a surnames book at the record office in Lincoln.    Wills?   The documnets online site is well worth a visit for pre 1858 wills.

I've tried those boards in the past with no result.  I haven't tried the Lookup exchange, so I'll try that and the documents site.  Thanks.   Julie

Hopefully you will get an answer clare sharp 14 from Emrose.

She has not been on here for a few years though.

FreeREG has nearly 400 B/M/D in Crowland for variations of that surname 1677-1954

There "was" a website www.red1st.com which covered the whole of the Isle of Axholme.

At the moment it is coming up as a security risk . I`ll try to find time to look into it tomorrow as here in the UK it`s late and my brain is scrambled !!!

Ignore my post above !! Completely wrong, I got Crowland mixed up with Crowle, which I used to visit on a fortnightly basis so I " should" have thought about it a bit harder.

So sorry.
