Charles Ernest Green family - Immigration Details to Australia

Hello All

I was wondering if anyone could assist with following Immigration Details of following
bit sketchy but have pieced together

GREEN, Charles Ernest
born approx 1877
died: 1948 NSW Australia
Lancashire

ASHTON Margaret Mary
born approx 1878
died: 1925 NSW Australia
Lancashire

Married 1902
District: Preston

2 children that i am aware of

GREEN Charles William
born:1903
died: 1940 - At Sea, Coast of Victoria, Australia
Preston Lancashire

GREEN Jack
born:
Unknown

I cant find a birth in Australia for Jack, I assume that Jack may have been born in Lancashire, England

I also cant establish when they came to Australia must be sometime after 1903 as son Charles William was born in England as per above

any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hi Greg,
The Freebmd Lancashire website shows the marriage of Charles E and Margaret Mary Ashton 1902 at Preston St Matthew also the birth record of Charles W at St John Preston but I can't see any record for a Jack. There is another record for a Florence Ena Green with mothers maiden name Ashton 1908 but it's in Wigan and Leigh so unsure about that one.
There is also on the same website a birth record for a Margaret Mary Ashton b 1878 Trinity Preston with mmn Arkwright and a record for a Charles Ernest Green 1877 Lancaster Preston mmn Fisher.

I've found a passenger ship record for a C E Green 46,and his wife M M Green 45,
Last address Preston and travelling to Sydney. There's just the two of them travelling together.
 I can't see anything that fits for a Charles W or  Jack

Found a birth record for a John Henry Green b 1905 West Preston fairly sure this is Jack. Mother's maiden name has been transcribed as Ashron instead of Ashton.
There is a 1911 census for him with his mother and brother which transcription restrictions prevent me from posting.

I'm not sure yet they could be but  I do  think the Wilkinsons and Greens are two separate families. With the Greens living at No 214 and the Wilkinsons at No 212 but that's not to say they are not connected.

thank you for reply, greatly appreciated, 1924 for journey to Australia Fits in and I think you are right with John Henry Green.

Sadly I gather the clues from Death Notices here in Australia so it just add to the issues of finding their place of origin
