Alice Brown and Mary Jane Brown
« on: Sunday 10 August 14 12:35 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for information on Alice Brown born about 1867 Birmingham, Warwickshire and her sister Mary Ann Brown born July 1868 Birmingham, Warwickshire. Their parents were Thomas Brown born about 1837 Birmingham, Warwickshire and Jane Elizabeth Brown(nee Tranter) born July 1844 Birmingham, Warwickshire. They were married 23rd July 1867 at St Peter and St Paul, Aston. He was living in Saltley and she was living in Aston village at the time of their wedding, the witnesses to the wedding were Jane's brother and sister. I have found the family on the 1871 census living at Cheapside, Deritend, Aston and Thomas's occupation was Iron beds maker. Jane Elizabeth Brown died in 1878 aged 33 and was buried on 26th April at St Peter and St Paul, Aston on the burial record it says at the time they were living at Mount Street Nechells. I've been unable to locate them on the 1881 or any of the following census's. If anyone can find anything or has any inofrmation about them I'd be really grateful.
Tranter, Palmer, McAleese, Wallace, Bolton, Bowman

Thanks for finding them on the census for me. I now can't help but wonder what happened to them next and where their Dad went to.
