Can the honeycomb look be removed from a photo? Phyllis & Lionel c1941
« on: Friday 08 August 14 08:48 BST (UK) »
Hi,  I'm not sure if the honeycomb look can be removed from a photo.  If so, I would be very appreciative if someone could please assist in cleaning up this shot of Phyllis and Lionel (Ted).

A bit of colour would be nice, and maybe add some life to the photo.   I think the dress was dusty pink, Lionel had blue eyes and Phyllis had green.

Thanks and Kind Regards,  Aussielass   :) :)

If your scanner has a magazine option in your scan settings use it to scan these photos with textured surfaces it automagically cuts down the moire effect.

Thanks for your advice "rusted", my scanner is basic and unfortunately doesn't have a magazine option.  Something to keep in mind when I need to replace my current printer/scanner!  :)
