Hello!
Just wondering whether anyone has any local knowledge about this particular address/building.
I've been searching the 'Sibley' side of my family in Surrey/Middlesex (mostly Kingston/West Moseley/Surbiton) and I've traced an ancestor of mine in the 1901 census, listed as living at 59A Clarence Street. It caught my eye in particular because there are so many people listed as living there - 36 in total! There's no indication in the record as to what this could be, apart from that right at the bottom of the list, prior to the next address, it states "Mission Hall".
Does anyone have any idea what this property was, or why so many people were living there in 1901? I've had a quick scan of the internet to no avail, so any information would be gratefully appreciated

Thanks,
Frances
