English Tiffin census look-up please

dear all
I have an Ehglish Tiffin ( yes, a curious name ) who marries an Elizabeth Abbott, 18-04-1799, st Gregory, Subury.
So far I have found that they have 2 daughters ; Elizabeth b 16-04-1800, Sarah b 05-01-1803, both births given as Sudbury, Suffolk (sorry, Family search entries)  most probably living at the time at Middleton, attending Church at Sudbury and moving to Sudbury at a later time.

I am hoping that English and Elizabeth make it to the 1841 or even the 1851 census's and that someone can find them for me

Im not seeing a death for English Tiffin on freebmd, so I guess he died pre 1837 ( there is one in 1854 for a James English Tiffin in Marylebone, guess there is some connection)

yes, "James English Tiffin", there must be a connection there somewhere 

wow, 1806 ! he didnt make it very far after marrying and having 2 daughters ! and Bulmer, yet another village to investigate

thinking further ; what is a "Death Duty Register" did he have to pay Tax after he was dead  lol
Does Bulmer have a Church I wonder ? I'm thinking gravestone inscriptions now,,,,,

I notice that the records for the two girls are both non-conformist. Worth remembering.

Some other James English Tiffin records are on Ancestry too, eg chr 1815, Suffolk parents William and Dinah.
Or chr 1820, birth 1818, non conformist Bocking Essex, parents Timothy and Mary.

So at least 2 James English Tiffins around!  And seemingly one lot in Suffolk and one lot in Essex at that time.

EDIT Same guy I think, Looks to me he married in Suffolk and then went to Essex, where he probably was from?

thanks for this link, really cool site,,,,, on looking further, I saw the site is dedicated to the late "Basil Slaughter" which jogged something in my memory,,,

on searching for the illusive "Elizabeth Tiffin" I believe I came across many candidates, one of whom was the daughter of a John Tiffin and an Elizabeth Slaughter both of Halstead, Essex, also of a st Andrews church  I seem to remember I dismissed her as a possibility as her birth was 4 years out or something like that,,,, but now I am having second thoughts again,,, Hmmm

1841 Census has a Elizabeth TIFFEN age 70 (1771), Independant, living in Bulmer, Esses, with 1 Servant. She is born in County.

1851 Sarah Bird is born c 1806 Bulmer.
