I'm not surprised that you are having problems because the details you give just don't pan out.
1. There is no trace of a John (or a John James) Pollock bc.1844 living in/born in Dundee on Scottish census.
2. There is no baptism for him in Dundee.
3. As already mentioned, where did 'Dundee' come from?
4. When did he arrive in Australia?
5. The death entry for 1913 states parents were 'James and Margaret' but was he bc.1844 or is he the son of John (?) Pollock and Margaret Brown who was born 1874? The newspaper reports state they had a 13year old daughter but Margaret (nee Brown) would have been 58 in 1900. As already mentioned, did you purchase a copy of the death certificate as you said you would on one of your other threads? If you did, can you tell us exactly what it said?
There are too many inconsistencies here and so all facts need to be double-checked. I note your first post on the subject was in 2011 - however, just making repeated requests for information giving the same facts as before is going nowhere because the details just don't add up I'm afraid.
