If seemingly no-one knows where Old Easton is, how do we know it is Old Easton in the first place? T

I Googled images of Old Easton and found the following.  You can just see the two spires in the background, the same ones in the black and white photo. (Easton-on-the-Hill near Stamford, Lincs. photos near Easton-on-the-Hill, Northamptonshire , copyright by author)

Badge, Butt, Brentnall, Cannon, Dixon, Esse (Main) Harcourt, Mahony, Moss, Mossop, Nickells, Sowerby, Vickers U.K/Australia/U.S.A.

Well done diesse. I had been hoping for Wiltshire, near Marlborough, but you can't win them all. Thanks T.

Find it difficult japeflakes to accept Somerset. Clearly in your picture one pinnacle is taller than the others whereas original are all equal. Thanks for your effort nevertheless.

Further to my other post, I put the two pictures together and most of the buildings are still there.
How wonderful to see that. Here in Aust. they would probably have been pulled down for a shopping centre or ugly flats/apartment buildings.

Love both pictures.

The one I was looking at was of the Wray family.  This was a large family photo and the one I am trying to send now is a much smaller picture.  I don't understand why it is so many KB?
