I have come across two abbreviations in Scots OPRs in Airdrie 1770-1795 which I can't understand.
DNP - did not pay ?
por - poor ?
Can anyone help please?

"Por" could be any number of things - portioner is one that springs to mind.  A bit more of the entry would help!

Portioner? - Proprieter of a small estate or piece of land once part of a larger estate. Originally also a joint heir. (The Concise Scots Dictionary)
