OK It didn't hurt to try.

Is there any connection to Dick Turpin, Rumor has it that he's in the family tree but I don't know if it's the Crampton's or Swarbrick family.

Hi, my great Grandfather was Thomas Rophie Crampton and his father was James Crampton . The wife of Thomas was Annie Maria Dawson and they were married in Salford on the 27th Dec 1893 Most of my family originated in Yorkshire.

regarding Thomas Rophie Crampton, he was my grandfather and father to my Dad Ernest Crampton born in Salford James was a railway engine fitter and his father William born in York also worked on the railways and was born in Newton-upon-Ouse Yorkshire ,ilegitemet son of Anne in the year 1816.

My grandfather was Thomas Edward crampton your grandfather and he were brothers
