Pete67 has confirmed via PM, that the above is correct (his father).
There were 2 marriages with children from both. Anything specific to do with those marriages and children IMHO, even though not all are living, should be via PM with Pete67 in keeping with Rootschat privacy rules - though you can see more here:
http://boards.ancestry.com.au/localities.britisles.england.mdx.general/8994.2/mb.ashxFrederick Henry FRY {FHF} had a younger brother named Harry (is deceased), born after the 1911 Census. FHF's father died in WW1 and his widow (FHF's mother) remarried.
It all points to FHF's parents being Fredrick FRY who married Rose Elizabeth RAWLINGS in 1910; they lived in Bow, within the Poplar district.
This appears to be the two marriages of FHF's mother :
MARRIAGE1: Sunday, 9th Jan 1910, at St Paul Old Ford, London
Groom: Frederick FRY 22, Bachelor, Dock Labourer, of Old Ford London,
Father: Charles FRY, Engineer
Bride: Rose Elizabeth RAWLINGS 21, Spinster, Shop Assistant, of Old Ford London
Father: John RAWLINGS, Dock Labourer
Witness: George Samuel AYRES and Eleanor JONES
MARRIAGE2: 2 April 1916 at St Paul Old Ford, London
Groom: Clifford Alfred GALE 22, Bachelor, Bootmaker, of 63 Milton Rd,
Father: George GALE, Boiler Plater
Bride: Rose ELIZABETH FRY 26, widow, of 63 Milton Rd,
Father: John RAWLINGS, deceased, Dock Labourer
Witness: John RAWLINGS and Rose May RAWLINGS
I think Frederick FRY Snr is on the 1901 Census, age 11 - a wee bit younger than his marriage indicated. In Poplar & father is Charles FRY, a Marine Engineers Labourer:

There is a tree online which says Frederick snr died 5 May 1915 Flanders.
But I can't see his for looking, listed on CWGS?
I was trying to see if the CWGC entry may have recorded details re wife or parents just to help tie up the above.
Cheers
