1969 Obituary Bournemouth - MITCHELL, Roy de-lorraine
« on: Tuesday 15 July 14 07:14 BST (UK) »
Hello. My father was a Home Child sent to Canada in 1924. I’m trying to find living relatives of his father, Edwin Wheeler.
Roy de-Lorrainne MITCHELL, estate agent, who died June 1969  in Bournemouth, was my father’s cousin. I think this was the Roy Mitchell who founded Mitchell Estate Agents, 77 Poole Road, Bournemouth. I’ve not been able to find an obituary or will to confirm this or the location of any of Roy M and Dora Norris’ children. Their children may have been (not confirmed) (*).
Thanks for any help,
Barb, from BC, Canada

JJ,
Thank you. Did you get the newspaper article from a free website? I have ancestry but not finding much for Newspapers. Mind you, I didn't try London papers.

The area used to be Hants. In 1974, there was a reorganization of local government and that area became part of Dorset.
