Dorset baptisms search - SANGER
« on: Monday 27 June 05 15:02 BST (UK) »
Hi would anyone be able to do a search on any of the following Sangers born in Dorset. I have already had the Bristol parish records searched and didn't find any of these, so am hoping they will be on the Dorset records. Am just having to try all of the West Country parishes.

William Sanger bc1815
Jane Sanger bc1820
Christopher Sanger bc1823
Charles Sanger bc1823

Parents - father: William Sanger
mother: Mary Ann Sanger (nee Webber)

They were married in 1812 so these children would have been born any time after that - although from later census records it looks as though Charles and Christopher were born 1823 (twins - unless census ages are wrong) and Jane's is circa 1820.

Seems a huge gap from the time this couple married in 1812 so I am sure there are other siblings that were born that I have not found yet (they may have died young).

I have found a record for an older son, William, b1812 in Wilts with parents of these names but not sure how to confirm this is my family as William and Mary are common names.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, April.  I will keep a note of these baptisms.

My Sanger famly are proving very difficult - I can't believe that they didn't baptise any of their children but it's beginning to look that way.

I appreciate your help.
