Isaac Whitehouse where were you?
« on: Friday 11 July 14 09:01 BST (UK) »
I know Isaac whitehouse married in St peter & Paul Aston on 1st 1841 his bride was Maria READ she was actually Maria REA
I have them in 1841 in the same household of the Cheadles who witnessed their marriage
HO107 piece 1143 bk 3 fo45 p14
I then find them in 1871 RG10/3107 fo 88 p29

but that's it where was he in 1851,1861 and 1881?
His wife is on the 1901census still with the Ann REA who appears on the 1871 with them
I am having a problem with that Ann ( I don;t think she is married to William REA but do think she is nee Whitehouse and Isaac's sister. William REA was Isaac's wife;s brother and married to Sarah nee Tranter. Isaac and Maria witnessed his marriage.Sarah is on the 1871 census with the rest of her children.
So it would be very usefull to find these missing censuses if only to see if Ann is in the household in 1881 or before 1871
I hope someone can show me what I am doing wrong not to be able to find them
Trees ???

There is an Isaac Whitehouse with Maria Whitehouse shown on the 1881 census living at 4 Lamberts End West Bromwich, Isaac is shown as a Brickyard Labourer. They are the only two in the household is this the correct person ?
Edgecombe, Edgecumbe, all variants, West Country to London and all ports in between

Found it
Still don't think so though
I think he was from Birmingham father Thomas mother Elizabeth  and she was born Birmingham father William but oddly she says she is from Cheshire in 1901 that is very odd  ???
Isaac was a brass founder when he married father a whitesmith and in 1871 he was a forger

It is looking more and more like William has left Sarah and partnered up with Isaac's little sister ouch
Next where was Maria in 1891 That gives a full house

Isaac is married to Maria Rea they witness the marriage of her brother Williama nd Sarah Tranter then Wiilliam appears to be married to Isaac's sister Ann and living with Isaac and Maria
Ann and Maria are still together both widows in 1901
Why did he take son William with him and abandon the other five children? well four as one was already married
