No problem...I guessed it could be yours and that the marriage was an estimate based on the birth of their 1st child...will keep looking....there is always the possibility that they didn't marry or that the document was damaged :-\

thats what we think they were not married because why come to the rhondda valley from yorkshire because he was,nt a miner he was a pawnbroker it says manager at pawnbroker on the 1911 census they are living in ferndale mid glamorgan then wonder if they were both married to someone else. carol

Do you have a copy of the 1909 marriage that Andycand found.  It may be that they just did not marry until later.  :-\

his father richard moody nelson is down for bradford 1910 he remarried after his wife francis died but cant find marriage for richard and laura

It looks like Laura's has the right reference number

This entry for Richard shows on freebmd as italics as the reference number is wrong for the area.  Looking at the image it is not good though it is a typed image.  It could just be a transcription error when the GRO index was typed. 

If it was me I would be ordering the record for Laura but stating the spouse was Richard Ernest Nelson.
