Living relatives of the Graham and O'Hara families Belfast

Hi, I have been researching my family for a few years now and I guess what I'm really looking for is a living relative.
My pop was Joe Graham b1921 Belfast, he had two brothers John Edward b. 1909 in Muttra India and William b. 1913 Belfast. He also had a sister Nora Evaline b. 1911 in south Afica. I know what happened to William he came to Manchester and we were in touch until he died in 1980. However I don't know what happened to John or Nora. Mr grandparents were Joe Graham b. 1879 and Lizzie Graham (nee O'Hara) b. 1886 d. 1957. They lived at several addresses around the shankhill area, Park Place, Limepark Terrace, Weirville Terrace and the Crumlin Road. I have been to Belfast a couple of times on my quest (I live in Lancashire), but as of yet I have failed to find a living relative. On the O'Hara side we are related to the Greer family and the Barnes family. There must be somebody Out there who know us!! I have lots of details and would just love to tally all this information up with somebody who knew these families. Obviously now all my immediate Grahams are dead and I don't even have photos of my gradparents. Please get in touch if you think you may know any of my family.

hi there I have greer's in my family and o'hara's that came from the shankill and lived on Crumlin Road George o'hara and mary thay both passed away but daughter still there I think and It was 682 I think Crumlin Road mary was my gggranda's sister

I have just read your post, it may well be that we are related. I'm just tied up with something at the moment but I will get back to you shortly with the link between the O'Hara's, the Graham's and the Greer's later tonight.  Also I have found another living relative who lives just outside of Belfast and who is connected through my great uncle William John O'Hara and the Greer family.

My dad was Joseph Alexander Graham born in Belfast in 1921, his dad was also Joe Graham born Belfast 1879.  His mum was Lizzy Graham (nee O'Hara) born 1886 I, you guessed it, Belfast! Now she had a brother William John and a sister Maggie.  William John Married Lizzy Greer on Jan 29th 1908 at St. George's Church of Ireland on the Shankhil. They had three children, Marcella, Alexander and Margaret.  Lizzy Greer's parents were James and Marcella Greer she had four other siblings John, Jane, Martha and Andrew who all went to live in either Canada or USA.  As I said I have a living relative on this side who comes through the Greer side and she recognised the name Marcella as it's not a common name in Ireland.

I hope you recognise some of these names as being from your family, it would be amazing to find another relative I didn't know I had.

Also, I'm really interested in the fact that your surname is Graham as I can go back to my great grandpa on that side to 1812 but I don't have any information on what happened to my dad's siblings or his uncles and aunts.  The only one of my great uncles I was able to get a bit of info on was Robert Graham who worked at Harland and Wolfe in 1911, so probably worked on the Titanic, that'll be why it sank!

hi george and Mary o'hara were my grandad mcclean cousin mary lived on the crumin road for years my mum is a greer her dad was a greer and came from Ligoniel no sure if it's the same people  who  you are  looking  for

Do any of you have a Robert Graham who married Margaret Beggs.  She was born July 31, 1852 in Ballyvoy, Co. Antrim, Ireland. I don't have Robert's date of birth although I think his father may also have been named Robert.  The Robert that I suspect may be his father died Dec 27, 1864 in Drummadaragh. I would be overjoyed to find out more about Robert.
