Hi Vonnie
Welcome to Rootschat. It helps the other members to know if you are looking for specific information (i.e. Census information or baptism details)and to state the information that you already have otherwise we end up not helping. It may be worth having a look on the beginners board to see some of the tips for new Roots Chatters and some of the resources and lookups that are available.
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,47.0.htmlI've had a look for your Harriet and I hope the following is of assistance (I've tried to give you the resource I've used so you can validate the information).
I used
www.familyhistoryonline.net which is a pay per view site (I had some credits left over) and
http://freecen.rootsweb.com/ which has 99% coverage of the Cornwall 1841 census and found the following.
BaptismHarriet Hill Sedgman
Born in St Hilary, Cornwall
Date 16 Apr 1843
Father Michael SEDGMAN
Mother Mary
Potential Marriage of Michael and MaryParish St Martin in Meneage
Michael Sedgeman married Mary Hill on the 5 Apr 1831
Children to Michael and Mary born in St Hilary
Frederick SEDGMAN 2 Jul 1839
Elizabeth Jane SEDGMAN 30 May 1841
Harriet Hill SEDGMAN 16 Apr 1843
I can't find Michael and Mary in Cornwall in the 1841 or 1851 Census - but they may be there under other names
I think I have found Harriet in the 1851 though but without the rest of her family - so there in lies a small puzzle.
Piece No 1913, Enumeration District 1, Folio 7, Schedule 24
St Martin in Meneage,
Address Tregevis
Harriet HILL, Head, 26, Occupation Not Stated, Born Cornwall
Harriet SEDGMAN, Niece, 8, Occupation Scholar, Born Cornwall
If you don't have her death certificate Victorian BDM are online (Link below) or you can use a transcription agent (I don't have any details as I don't use one, but if you search rootschat for those words you should find the details of someone who does.)

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,26946.0.htmlI didn't look for Richard Gale at all. From your post I couldn't tell if they were married in Oz or in England. Either persons death certificate should tell you.
Let me know if the above helps or if there was something more specific you were after.
